Question about lights on FishTv Underwater Camera?
I have a FishTV Underwater Viewing System for ice fishing. The camera part (shaped like a fish that is on a cord... it's the part that gets submerged in the water has a circle of lights around the camera lens part. The lights do not turn on. I got this from a garage sale and can't figure out if I'm an idiot and not turning the lights on or should they go on automatically? If it should go on automatically (and I think they should), does anyone know how to fix them? Or is there a good place in Wisconsin area where I could take this to get fixed? I don't even know where they sell this model.... Thanks!
The far right twisting knob that says, "Min Max" is the control for the lights.
The lights aren't infrared on those models- just red LED's. (I own that same model!)
If the lights fail to work when dialed to "max" purchase an after-market LED submersible light to attach to your camera unit.
Do a search for an "Aqua View Underwater Flood Light" ($19.99)
