Question for advanced surfers! 6'6" Quad Fish Surfboard?
i have been surfing for over 20 years and moved to South Carolina after growing up in San Diego, CA. the waves are less consistent out here and a lot smaller. i want a quad fish for the size of surf here but dont want to spend close to $600 for one. i found a ron jon board for $300 and i want to buy it! its 6'6" quad fish. i am 5'8" bout 130 lbs so i'm thinking its a little big for me but its the only one for the price. bigger may be more fun and easier to catch waves but i hope that does not sacrifice maneuverability..
that sounds like it would be fine if the waves you're surfing aren't more than 8-10 feet
